We had a busy month. We had grandma and grandpa (different days, lol) both stay over at the house and spend a little time with Kian. Grandpa played giant with Kian although he is still a little young and didn't really get the concept. He also gave Kian a bath and they had a good time together. Kian is getting a lot better with people holding him and that makes us very happy so family can spend more quality time with him. Grandma Daniel also took Kian for a few days to her house. This was harder on Mommy and Daddy than it was on Kian. It was strange with him not being here for a few days. We were surprised to find that we were board without him here. Kian got a lot of great presents for Christmas. If the gift giving keeps up at this rate we will need a new house just for all his toys. He got a mechanical horse for Christmas from grandpa Bill and Diane. My dad was very excited to give it to him, but unfortunately he is deathly afraid of the horse. He won't get near it and if you make it move he backs away and gets really afraid. He just points to it and says horse 100 times. The first night we had it home he got up in the middle of the night and started saying horse. We think he was dreaming about it...poor little guy. He now will get closer to it and keeps telling it to sit. Its kind of funny. I am sure he will get over it and will be riding it soon but for now it is just fun for him to tell us to push the button while he watches from the distance.
Kian is saying just about any word you tell him. He hears me call Marcio by name and now says that and it is pretty cute. He says Old McDonald, and Aidan's name from daycare really funny and cracks us up. He is starting to climb on things and we have to be very careful that we don't give him too much time out of view. He is running like a pro and is starting to fling fits with just about anything.
