Luca is three months old. He is a big baby and quickly growing out of his clothes. He is wearing 9-12 month onesies and 6 months sleepers. He has been a challenging baby so far. He takes little 15 minute cat naps all day instead of a typical morning and afternoon nap. We are still not able to get him to sleep more than three hours a time at night. He loves to be swaddled and I am not sure how we will ever be able to break him from it. When he is happy (not as often as I would like) he has in infections smile that quickly makes you forget how high maintenance he can be. He loves to just be talked to and this usually is the best way to get one of those smiles. He is just starting to be able to grasp objects and bring them in for a closer look (with his mouth). I just bought a bunch of teething rings so hopefully I can keep the thumb sucking to a minimum.
Luca this month:
is 14.6 lbs
eating every 3 hours
eating about 3-5 ounces per feeding
sleeping 3 hours at a time at night
loves to be swaddled at night
loves bath time but is starting to kick and splash water out of this tub
is ticklish on his chest and feet
has beautiful long lashes
uses a passie
can grab the toys on his exersaucer.
is getting a little bit of new hair on his head that appears to be blond/reddish
is starting to really enjoy the jumparoo
